Leaving from the reef and rainforest environment which typifies the Cairns area, the Coast to Coast Bike Ride travels over the Great Dividing Range, through the scenic Tablelands region with it’s volcanic origins and into the Savannah Outback – following the Savannah Way through to the marine plains and wetlands before reaching the Gulf of Carpentaria coastline at Karumba.  You will see the regions landscapes and wildlife, meet the warm and friendly locals in each community, be greeted and entertained by the children the ride supports and we will look after you all the way.

SATURDAY - JUNE 26, 2010 Pre Ride Get Together
This will be held at Cairns School of Distance Education, Hoare Street, Cairns - at 3pm.

SUNDAY - JUNE 27, 2010- The Coast To Coast Bike Ride Begins!
Departure will be from Pier Car Park, Esplanade, Cairns
1st Pack -  6.30am - 1st pack will ride the Kuranda Range
2nd Pack - 7.15am - ride to Smithfield Shopping Centre and travel in support vehicles up Kuranda Range. All riders meet at the top of the range where 5 packs will be formed. Camping - Atherton Showgrounds - Trivia Quiz night.

MONDAY - JUNE 28, 2010
Depart Atherton for Mt Garnet. Camping at Mt Garnet Rodeo Grounds

TUESDAY - June 29, 2010
Depart Mt Garnet for Mt Surprise. Camping at Mt Surprise - Red Faces Talent Quest at Mt Surprise Pub (prepare your act and enjoy the fun).

WEDNESDAY - June 30, 2010
Depart Mt Surprise for Georgetown. Camping at Georgetown Rodeo Grounds - the Calcutta.

THURSDAY - JULY 1, 2010
Depart Georgetown for Croydon. Camping at Croydon Rodeo Grounds - Pyjama Party and singalong at the campfire. Be tired, very tired!

FRIDAY - JULY 2, 2010
Depart Croydon for Normanton. Camping at Normanton. Camp well away from the bar tonight - we have a DJ to help make lots of noise. It's Cowpoke night! Be prepared to party on into the night.

SATURDAY - JULY 3, 2010
Depart Normanton for Karumba - end of ride celebrations, Karumba Point. Evening meal is not provided. Meals can be purchased at your own expense. You've made it and we'd love to see you again.

SUNDAY - JULY 4, 2010
Unsupported riders - Bus departs Karumba (don't miss it - see Dale for details), overnight in Mt Surprise and return to Cairns on Monday.
